SUMMER is here and the latest survey results are in! I think the harshest comment we got in our latest athlete survey was a request to put facial tissues in the bathrooms. Which confused us a bit because we already do stock them. I hate to sound disappointed, but you see, we knew that we would have to make some significant changes to our schedules and programming once the gym outgrew our current schedule. We were hoping that maybe, just maybe, there would be a revelation in the survey that would make the answers seem so clear and obvious… Nope, just that you love the programming, the coaches, specialty classes, and special events. I guess the news could be worse 😉
As we announced last week, once our latest BootCamp Kick Start ends on June 8th, we will be replacing all of our BootCamp classes with CrossFit. This means that 8:30 a.m. will now be CrossFit as well as the 5:30 p.m. class, with some exceptions. We are a small facility and can generally hold one class at a time and the demand for CrossFit has increased as our membership has increased. Remember, CrossFit is infinitely scalable, and everyone will find the right intensity of workout. In fact, you may see new people come to CrossFit classes but not use barbells until they finish their Beginner CrossFit classes.
So as not to get too long-winded, we will elaborate more on ‘Beginner CrossFit’ later this month, as well as what new and exciting things are on the horizon! Thank you for your patience with these changes and with the 5:30pm time slot as we get some newer athletes through On Ramp classes this month. Keep WOD-ing and enjoy the summer!
