Fourth of July, the Incline, pull-up progressions, Lift Lovers, Get RX’d & Funny (or Motivational) T-Shirt Week! If that doesn’t get you excited about this month, then check your heart beat because you may not have one! If you know Grail, you know that we are a huge supporter of our troops and first responders. The freedom we have in this country is something to be grateful for and we look forward to celebrating that freedom on July 4th by celebrating those fallen soldiers that made our freedom possible by starting the day with a fantastic HERO WOD! Your RESULTS are our focus this month, and with that comes programming designed to build your Latissimus Dorsi, or ‘LATs.’ The Lats muscle is a flat muscle on your back that stretches out to the sides of the body. One of the main roles your Lats muscle plays is moving your upper arms closer to your body when doing pull-ups. By strengthening this muscle, we help you perform the strict pull-up, which is a requirement before learning how to kip. We focus on Lats every Friday, so make sure you don’t miss those days!
Another RESULTS driven service we are developing is an expanded Nutrition Program, which we will be describing in the days and weeks to come. We know that the most impactful thing we can do is improve our nutrition, which is why it is the Foundation of the Fitness Pyramid – stay tuned for that.
